Following Shopperpedia's in store research at the Australian retailer checkouts the implementation of our recommendations resulted in increased revenue per checkout per store per WEEK!


The adoption of Shopperpedia's recommendations for shelf changes in both Coles & Woolworths resulted in increased buying conversion rates across the category.

Prior to our research the Australian category was tracking at -20% growth. Our in store research was critical in turning this around to +6% growth.

Laundry Care

Based on Shopperpedia's in store finding a trial was set up that resulted in +17% growth in the trial store versus the control store. Following implementation of the trial store layout:

  • AWOP increased from 1.4 to 1.8 units on average.
  • Above the line: 1, 2, 3 campaign by a leading manufacturer.


Following Shopperpedia's suggested changes to the plan-o-gram from one bay to two sales of flavoured coffee doubled within a year. Flavoured coffee is now one of the biggest segments in the Coffee category in Australia.
